Touching Is Good (2022) is an interactive new media installation in which a phone mounted on a tripod is facing a monitor displaying a quote from a Nintendo ad. Visitors are invited to eat Cheetos laid out on the gallery floor and then touch the phone screen. When someone’s dirty fingers make contact with the immaculate glass of the electronic device, the word “YES” appears on the monitor, and a sound is produced. The color of the text and the speed at which the audio is played vary depending on where the visitor touches the screen.
